Music is . . .

"Music is . . . life" is how the 14 year old prodigy describes his love and passion for music. "Blessed" is Raghav's explanation for his incredible experiences.

Drumming since age 3, Raghav has been fortunate to have shared the stage with some legendary musicians like Steve Smith (Hall of Fame drummer for Journey), Slash (Gun N Roses), Earl Slick (lead guitarist for David Bowie), John Wetton (King Crimson), James Genus (Saturday Night Live), Jimmy Haslip (Yellowjackets), Vinny Valentino (Vital Information)! And on some awe-inspiring stages!

Raghav made his Broadway debut in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony-nominated School of Rock the Musical where he performed over 500 shows and at the Tony Awards!

Raghav was the principal character, Freddy, the drummer, in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony-nominated School of Rock the Musical! With over  500 shows, he captivated thousands at the legendary Winter Garden Theater.

Tony Awards, Good Morning America, Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, Gypsy of the Year, Stars in the Alley, were among his other performances. In 2018, Raghav reunited with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, performing with Sarah Brightman at The Phantom of the Opera’s 30th Anniversary celebration. Jokingly, Raghav says "you know you are extremely fortunate when you see yourself on a Time Square billboard and there is an emoji modeled after you!"

Performing and Recording for a Cause

Raghav was featured on drums in Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth for the album Broadway's Carols for Cure 2016

As a "Wimbash AllStar", Raghav has been performing with the legendary Doug Wimbish for the great cause of furthering music education among school children, both nationally and in the Dominican Republic. Raghav has performed for fundraisers for great causes like Broadway Hits for Haiti, Guitar Mash, Broadway Cares: Equity Fights AIDS, Ocean Conservancy, etc.

Moved by the devastation caused by  hurricanes and believing that the power of music can be channelized to heal, Raghav founded and organized a successful rock concert "Grover Rocks" at his middle school. He plans to make this fundraiser an annual event, spreading love and hope through music.

Since early on, Raghav has been fortunate to have performed at some legendary venues including the Madison Square Garden, Beacon Theater, Winter Garden Theater, New Amsterdam Theater, Lincoln Memorial, DC9, The Oculus, Gathering of the Vibes, The Electric Factory, Underground Arts.
